Prime Butter Recipe: Prime Rib with Horseradish Butter

Here's what you'll need:

Ingredients: 

  • 3-pound prime rib roast
  • 3 tablespoons Prime Butter, plus more for serving if desired
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Sergio’s Seasoning, to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the Prime Butter, minced garlic, and chopped rosemary. Set aside.
  3. Pat the roast dry with paper towels. Season generously with Sergio's Seasoning.
  4. Spread the butter mixture evenly over the roast, making sure to coat the entire surface.
  5. Place the roast in a roasting pan. Roast in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  6. Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F and continue roasting for an additional 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F for medium-rare.
  7. Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before carving.
