Maitre d’Butter Recipe: Crispy Potato Salad

Today, we’re elevating a classic comfort food - potato salad - into something truly special. This tasty recipe from @itslizmiu is infused with our bold Sergio's Seasoning and complemented by our signature Maitre d’Butter, creating a perfect crowd-pleasing appetizer or standout side dish.

Here's what you'll need:

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag of tater tots
  • 2 tablespoons Maitre d’Butter, melted
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon whole-grain mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped dill
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 3 tablespoons chopped chives
  • 1 cucumber (Persian preferred, but English works too) – deseeded and diced
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • Sergio's Seasoning to taste

Directions:

  1. Start by baking your tater tots according to the package instructions. For the Golden Steer twist, take them out halfway through and smash them down gently to create more surface area. Brush generously with melted Maitre d’Butter and pop them back in the oven. Bake until golden and crispy.
  2. While the tots are baking, mix together the lemon juice, Greek yogurt, mayo, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, and minced garlic in a medium bowl. Stir in the chopped dill, parsley, chives, diced cucumber, and red onion. Season to taste with Sergio’s Seasoning.
  3. Gently stir the baked tots into the sauce until thoroughly mixed and serve.
