Here’s how you can make this delightful salad for your next gathering:


Marinated Chickpeas:


  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Bowtie Seasoning


  • Your choice of greens (lettuce or spinach work well), chopped
  • 1/4 onion, sliced (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sweet peppers
  • 2 slices of salami, chopped
  • 1 handful of cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 avocado, diced (optional)
  • Other vegetables of your choice (optional)


  1. Start by marinating the chickpeas. Combine 1 can of chickpeas (drained), Bowtie Seasoning (to taste), and Table 40 Seasoning (to taste) in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil, mixing until well-coated. Allow to marinate in your refrigerator for at least an hour.
