De Jonghe Butter Recipe: Buttered Lobster Tails

Featuring Jumbo Lobster Tails elevated with our signature De Jonghe Butter and aromatic Bowtie Seasoning, this recipe will create a home dining experience like no other. 

Here's what you'll need:

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Jumbo Australian Lobster Tails, 12 oz each
  • 1/2 tablespoon Bowtie Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons De Jonghe Butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

DIRECTIONS: 

  1. Butterfly the lobster tails by cutting through the top shell with kitchen scissors, stopping at the base of the tail. Gently crack open the shell and loosen the meat, keeping it attached at the base. Press the shell together and set the lobster meat on top.
  2. Evenly sprinkle Bowtie Seasoning over the exposed lobster meat.
  3. Place the seasoned lobster tails in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam for 8-10 minutes or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
  4. Remove the lobster tails from the steamer. Pour the melted De Jonghe Butter over each lobster tail, ensuring even coverage with its rich, herbed flavors.
  5. Garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley.
  6. Serve immediately to savor a decadent seafood feast worthy of any occasion.
