Ingredients:
- 2 large pickle halves (cut lengthwise)
- 2 tablespoons shredded cheese (like mozzarella or Parmesan)
- Sergio’s Seasoning (to taste)
- One-half cup chopped salad mix
- 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
- 3 to 4 slices of turkey breast
- One-half ripe avocado, sliced
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Pat the pickle halves dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.
- Sprinkle a thin layer of shredded cheese on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Place the pickle halves, cut side down, directly on the cheese layer.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let the pickles cool for a few minutes to firm up.
- In a small bowl, toss the chopped salad mix with the ranch dressing until evenly coated.
- Slice the avocado and prepare the turkey slices.
- Sprinkle the cooled pickle "breads" with Sergio’s Seasoning (to taste).
