Marilyn wasn't just a name on our guest list — she was a part of our legacy, and we're honored to celebrate hers.
A Place of Her Own
Marilyn was a regular at the Golden Steer. During her marriage to Joe DiMaggio, the two shared intimate dinners at his dedicated Booth 26 — quiet evenings away from the world outside. When that chapter ended, Marilyn didn't leave. She claimed Booth 29, directly across from his, and made it entirely her own. A ribeye. A glass of champagne. On her terms. She became one of the Rat Pack's most beloved fixtures, and Booth 29 became hers in every way that mattered.
The Booth Takeover
To honor her centennial, we've transformed Booth 29 into a special tribute experience. Guests can now dine in the very booth where Marilyn once sat — surrounded by a curated collection of memorabilia celebrating her life, her legacy, and her connection to the Steer. It's an experience as singular as she was.
